Jean Pierre CLERO, PhD 

Professor PhD University of Rouen (FRANCE)

He is teaching in the Department of philosophy, being specialized in Anglo-Saxon philosophy (Bentham’s philosophy). His philosophical concerns go beyond the framework of analytical philosophy. The analytical philosophy is the starting point and methodological instrument that allows him to make exegetical inroads in the sphere of ethics, imaginary/fiction, epistemology and psychology of Mathematics, especially in applied ethics and bioethics, in philosophy of language and anthropology.

He has previously taught in Flaubert and Joan of Arc High-schools from Rouen, then in 1994 has become Associate Professor at the University of Haute-Normandie. He obtains his habilitation at the University of Paris X – Nanterre, on January the 24th, 1996. In the same year, he was made Professor at the University of Haute-Normandie. In 2001, he advanced to the status of Class 1 Professor, in 2010 achieving the status of Professor of Exceptional Class. Currently, he is Director of the Bentham Center, from the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris, being member of the International Academy of History of Sciences from Bruxelles.


Maria KORDAKI, PhD 

Associate Professor PhD, University of the Aegean (GREECE)

She holds a PhD in Educational Technology, a Master in Education, a Diploma in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor in Mathematics from the University of Patras, Greece. She is associate professor of Educational Technology in the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, University of the Aegean, Greece. She is also a collaborative professor in the Hellenic Open University. During the last decade, she had also served as adjunct Professor in the Dept. of Computer Engineering and Informatics, University of Patras, Greece and in the department of Mathematics of this University.

Her research focuses on technology supported learning-design, towards critical and creative thinking within various educational settings including: paper and pencil, online, blended, collaborative and technology-based learning as well as Gender and Computing and STEM education, Computer Science Education, digital game-based learning, educational digital storytelling, use of social and constructivist learning theories in the design of educational micro-worlds.  She also serves in the editorial board of various international and national Journals and Conferences. Finally, she has published over 217 scientific papers and 13 books. Her research works have received at least 900 citations in international (744 citations according to Publish and Perish, h-index=14, g-index=22, last access: 19/09/2017) and national (more than 150 citations) scientific books, journals and conference proceedings. She has also collaborated with more than 70 other researchers.


Laura Monica GORGHIU, PhD

Associate Professor PhD, Valahia University Targoviste (ROMANIA)

Mrs. Laura Monica Gorghiu is Associate Professor in the frame of Sciences and Advanced Technologies Department, Faculty of Sciences and Arts of Valahia University Targoviste. She graduated the Faculty of Chemistry – University of Bucharest, and has the Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2004. She has also a Master Degree in Project Management, and is actually the Vice-rector of Valahia University Targoviste – responsible with education and quality assurance issues.

She has experience in academic management and projects management, being involved as coordinator or team member in 30 research contracts and international/national projects in the areas of ICT in education, Science and Chemistry. She has published as author / coauthor a number of 30 books and 264 scientific papers in ISI journals, scientific journals indexed in international  databases, proceedings of national and international conferences in the domain of Chemistry,  Educational Research and Science Education.


 Otilia CLIPA, PhD

Associate Professor PhD, Stefan cel Mare University from Suceava (ROMANIA)

Otilia Clipa is associate professor, Head of Science of Education Department, Stefan cel Mare University from Suceava. She has a BA in Pedagogy and Psychology and MD in Integrated Pedagogy. She attended Faculty of Science of Education and Faculty of Psychology from “Al. I. Cuza” Iasi in 1991- 1997 and 1996-2000 periods. PhD thesis approached a theme about Evaluation in Higher Education. She published three books and many articles in international journal (over 40 articles).  Also, she is involved in many research projects in science of education field. Areas of interest: preschool and primary education, assessment in education, teacher education and didactics for university teachers.


Valentin MURESAN, PhD

Professor PhD in Moral Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Bucharest (ROMANIA)

He published papers in moral philosophy (Plato, Aristotle, Kant, Mill, Hare), and in applied ethics (ethics management in organizations, 2009; happiness, duty and ethical decision, 2010). He published several volumes on topics of moral philosophy and general philosophy and is interested on applied ethics (institutionalizing ethics) and of the theoretical ethics.
He translated and edited several works. He recently developed several ethical decision and ethical training tools, such as on line self-training tool, bi-leveled utilitarian method of ethical decision, pluralist method of ethical decision making, and so on. He adapted other methods: matrix ethics, principlist method, the casuistry method etc.
He proposes a procedure for creating codes of ethics, starting from the principlist method and advocates for codes of ethics based on explicit moral principles. For moral acceptability of public policies or some technologies, he proposes the pluralistic method that combines various tests and Delphi method for ethics in an original overall scheme.
